MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (Nexstar)- DPS has confirmed two people have died in a fiery crash on I-20 near 1788.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. when a passenger car rear ended an 18 wheeler and caught on fire.
Lanes were closed for DPS to re-create the crash but the road is now re-open.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the eastbound lanes of I-20 are closed at East Loop 338 in Odessa and traffic has been moved to the south service road.
No word on what caused the crash or if there are any reported injuries, but TxDOT says the lanes will be closed for several hours as DPS continues investigating the crash and works to clear the scene.
