MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Deputies with the Midland County Sheriff’s Office are on the lookout for a suspect accused of running over a horse, earlier this month.
Officials say back on Oct. 20, deputies were called to the area of County Road 1140 and County Road 120 and found someone had damaged the property owner’s fence and ran over their horse.
Following the collision, officials say the driver then got stuck in a nearby pond but managed to escape, according to a release.
The damage caused at the scene is believed to be valued at around $30,000.
