DeLaGarza Wins First Midland Women’s City Golf Championship


Faith DeLaGarza had finished runner-up the last two years and she finally sank the winning putt.

She will enter her senior year at Midland High in the fall. She defeated former Midland Lee Rebel Brooke Schlemeyer 6 to 5 in match play to win the Midland Women’s City Golf Championship Thursday. She fell to former Andrews golfer Sarah Black the last two years in the finals.
