Cudd announces Midland Mayoral bid

MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) Incumbent Mayor, Jerry Morales, will have a challenger in the coming election.

Businesswoman Jenny Cudd announced Tuesday they she will officially make a run for the seat in Midland.

“I am running for Mayor to provide Midland with the type of leadership she deserves,” said Cudd. But I need your help. I need your help to restore transparency and trust; to prioritize the problems that are that are limiting our potential; to build this stronger, more resilient Midland, Cudd said in a statement.

Cudd is the owner of Becky’s Flowers and she holds an associate’s degree in Drug and Alcohol abuse counseling.

She is now set to square off with incumbent Morales who announced in March his intent to seek a third term.
