UPDATE: Officials with OFR have provided new information on the response to Carver Early Education Center.
OFR says roofers were working at the school and believe some debris entered and air conditioning unit setting off the alarms at the school.
Furthermore, officials say they searched the school and there is no evidence of a fire.

Odessa Fire/Rescue is currently en route to Carver Early Education Center.
Officials with Ector County ISD say there was smoke at the building, but no fire and students have been cleared to go back into the school.
We have a crew headed to the scene and will update when more information is available.
