Crane woman killed in Wednesday crash

ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – A 40-year-old woman from Crane was killed following a crash that occurred in Ector County Wednesday, according to a release form the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Troopers were called to the crash around 5:50 p.m. Wednesday on Loop 338 about five miles south of Odessa.

While investigating, troopers learned the driver of a Nissan Sentra was headed south on Loop 338 when she entered the northbound lanes and collided with a semi-truck, according to the report.

The driver of the Sentra, Wendy Bryan, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash and the driver of the semi, Johnny Johnson, was taken to medical Center Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries, DPS officials say.
