MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- UPDATE: The City of Midland said all repairs have been made.

Crews with the City of Midland are working on a water main break at the intersection of New York Avenue and N Big Spring Steet, where a contractor hit an unmarked line. Drivers are encouraged to proceed with caution and avoid the area if possible.

The City said this break should not impact any homes in the area but businesses at the intersection may experience a temporary outage.
