Chris Estrada, who had been accused of tampering with physical evidence related to the death of Zuzu Verk back in 2016, has been found guilty.
According to the Brewster County Sheriff’s Office, Judge Roy Ferguson found Estrada guilty on the tampering charge and he will be sentenced following the trial of Robert Fabian.
Estrada and Fabian were both indicted in connection with the death of Verk back in 2016.
Her remains were later found in a shallow grave just outside of Alpine wrapped in plastic painters cloth.
Estrada was later indicted on a charged of tampering with physical evidence by concealing a human corpse.
