Bryan man killed in crash Wednesday

A 19-year-old man from Bryan was killed following a crash in Pecos County Wednesday, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. 

Troopers were called to the crash around 6:58 a.m. Wednesday morning at the intersection of FM 1776 and FM 1450, about two and a half miles north of Coyanosa. 

Officials say The driver of a Volkswagen Jetta disregarded a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a Ford F-350 pickup. 

The driver of the Jetta, Christopher Bunch, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to the DPS report. 

The driver of the Ford, Jose Tello-Carrizales and a passenger, Anaderi Aguilar, were both taken to the hospital following the crash, officials say.
