Bull rider Bradie Gray is on the road to recovery.
Gray was injured during in the College National Finals Rodeo on June 15 when he was stepped on by a bull.
But today was a good one for the Odessa College rodeo team member as officials with Wyoming Medical Center announced that he has officially been released from the hospital.
According to a statement from the hospital on their social media page, Gray and his family hope to fly back to Austrailia in a few weeks.
In the meantime, Gray and is family will stay in Casper, Wyoming and then make the drive back to Odessa.
“I just want to thank the doctors and staff, without them I wouldn’t be here,” Gray said in a statement posted on the social media page. “I just can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for me. All the nurses here are really good. I made a lot of friends here.”
