Bomb threat called in at Odessa Wal-Mart Monday


ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) A bomb threat caused a temporary evacuation at a Wal-Mart in Odessa Monday.

Police officials say officers were called to the threat Monday afternoon at the Wal-Mart off Loop 338.

A suspect is accused of threatening to blow up the business, according to a release.

Taking precautionary measures, the store was evacuated, police say. Officers ultimately determined that there was no threat at the Wal-Mart.

Police say no arrests have been made in the case and the investigation is ongoing.
