HOWARD COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – A 29-year-old Big Spring man was killed following a crash Tuesday on Interstate 20, according to a release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Troopers were called to the crash around 11:22 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 20, about six miles east of Stanton.
While investigating, troopers learned the driver of a semi-truck, Joshua Jones, failed to control his speed and struck the back of another semi-truck, according to a release.
Jones was taken to Martin County Hospital where he was later pronounced dead by medical personnel, officials say.
No other injuries were reported.
Jones was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
