Authorities in Alpine have now brought drones into the mix as they continue the search to find Zuzu Verk.

Verk went missing on Oct. 12. Since then, authorities from Alpine, Brewster County and other areas, have been searching for her.

Zuzu’s family also recently made a plea with her boyfriend to come forward and cooperate with authorities in their investigation after Alpine Police said he is a person of interest in the investigation.

Brewster County Sheriff Ronny Dodson said his cooperation has been limited to none, the last time he spoke with investigators was more than a week ago.

“They did have an interview with him, and then he retained an attorney, and since then he has never been talked to, he’s never called in, he hasn’t said anything to us.”

Authorities have also since processed two vehicles for evidence during their investigation, according to previous reports.

A reward leading to Zuz’s safe return or her whereabouts has also reached $100,000.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Alpine Police Department at 432-837-3486.
