In Andrews, this Easter weekend they celebrated the cities largest festival of the year: Wild, Wild West Fest.
“The more we can do for family fun events, the more the families can be united,” said Andrews Mayor Flora Braly.
The festival is in its fifth anniversary and is free to the public. The only thing people need money for is food and things to buy.
“We have live entertainment, we have a carnival, we have a sanctioned barbecue cook off,” said Nohemi Sanchez of the Andrews Chamber of Commerce.
But behind the fun, is a lot of hard work. Volunteers spend hours upon hours making the festival happen.
“Its a great event for the chamber, they work really hard,” said Braly. “And then all of the community helps and we all volunteer and it all comes together. It’s a lot of fun.”
