ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Odessa Police have released new details in a car-pedestrian crash that left one dead over the weekend.
Police officials say officers were called to the crash late Friday night in the area of University and Golder Avenue.
While investigating, officers learned that the driver of a Jeep Liberty was headed east on University and collided with a man who was running across University, according to a release.
The pedestrian, who has not been notified pending notification of next of kin, was taken to Medical Center Hospital and later pronounced dead, police say.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
