43 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ector County

ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – 43 new Coronavirus cases are being reported in Ector County, according to an update Tuesday afternoon.

Stats show 2,174 confirmed cases and 964 probable cases for a total count of 3,138. Additionally, stats show 1,113 active cases with 456 tests pending.

At Medical Center Hospital, officials say they currently have 35 COVID-19 patients in-house with 12 of those in the Critical Care Unit and six on ventilators.

MCH says four of the COVID-19 patients are from Andrews, four are from Fort Stockton. Meanwhile, there is one patient from Alpine, Pecos and Stanton at MCH.
