Voter registration ends today, what you need to know before the March election

ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (YourBasin) – Today was the deadline to register to vote for the Texas Primary election. With just one month to go, election officials in Ector County had a busy day helping residents get registered.

Ector County Elections Administrator, Lisa Sertuche says there have been a lot of calls, and many people have been getting registered or getting their change of address so they can vote in the upcoming election.

Sertuche also says there are many items on the ballot for Ector County this election cycle. She advises that voters familiarize themselves with the ballot before they head to the booth.

Early voting for this election cycle begins February 18, and ends on February 29. The last day to register to vote for the general election is October 5, 2020.
