UPDATE: Missing Midland teen, Robert Duncan found dead

MIDLAND, TX (Big 2/ Fox 24) Update: 4:30 p.m. A missing 17-year-old boy, Robert Duncan has been found dead in the area of County Road 1230 and County Road 120, according to Chief Deputy Rory McKinney. MCSO is not releasing the cause of death at this time.


Duncan has been reported missing since December 27th, and he is described as a white male around 5’6″ and 140 pounds.
An investigation led deputies to County Road 1230 and I-20. Law enforcement is currently searching the area.

We have a crew on the scene and will continue to keep you updated on this investigation. We also spoke with Ducan’s mother, who says she believes her son was in the area with friends and that one friend is in custody. We have limited details, as this is an active investigation.

If you have any information about Duncan’s whereabouts, please call the Midland County Sheriff’s Office. Duncan’s parents told us there is a $7,000 reward for him to be brought home.
