ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/FOX 24) – The Odessa Rotary Club hosted a barbecue on Monday for first responders in Odessa and Ector County. The club’s goal was to feed more than 200 people.
“This is for those who were right on the front lines when this took place. We want to lift them up on this day, which normally it’s something that you don’t like to remember. But you want to remember everyone involved and what good jobs they did,” said Jeff Woltz, President, Odessa Rotary Club.
The event took place at the Central Fire Station on Second Street.
