Miss Cayce’s Wonderland spreads joy through #CheerCrashing

local news

MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – Miss Cayce’s Wonderland is a magical store with whimsical and glamorous decorations that spark holiday joy. However, in recent weeks, magic has been in short supply due to Coronavirus. So co-owners, and sisters, Becky McCraney and Kathy Harrison, are sending some of their magic out into the community.

Their new title, the #CheerCrashers.

Through nominations and partnerships with local businesses, the team at Miss Cayce’s Wonderland can bring cheer to someone’s world, and they want more people and businesses to get involved.

Until April 30th, they are accepting nominations for their next cheer crashing, and they are also interested in partnering with local businesses.

For their first cheer crashing, they had a donation from The Agave Garden that included pots with flowers. Simply Kristina Leigh has generously sponsored the next Cheer Crashers, and the Botanical Garden is offering some decorations as well. If you are interested in joining the excitement by being a sponsor, please email becky@misscayceswonderland.com or visit their Facebook page.

“Anyone can be nominated we want you to tell us why that person needs some cheer in their lives, is it something they have done in the community, or someway they are giving back that you noticed, or have they gone unnoticed? Some people fly under the radar, and it’s nice to be cheered on with what they are doing.”

Becky McCraney, Co-owner of Miss Cayce’s Wonderland

Do you know a First-responder? Medical personnel? Community leader? Teacher? Or someone deserving a little cheer in their life in Midland or Odessa? Here is how you can spread some cheer.
