MCSO: 5 teens charged in connection to the murder of 17-year-old Robert Duncan

MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24)- According to MCSO, five teenagers have been charged in connection to the murder of 17-year-old Robert Duncan.

According to law enforcement, 17-year-old Larry West Jr. has been charged with capital murder, 18-year-old Zayden Hayes has been charged with capital murder, 18-year-old Rogelio Cadena has been charged with murder, 18-year-old Rogelio Vasquez has been charged with tampering with evidence and 17-year-old John Hayes has been charged with interfering with public duties.

Duncan went missing on Saturday. Sheriff’s found Duncan’s body on December 31, 2019, at a trailer park near County Road 1230 and County Road 120 in Midland.

According to his mother, Duncan was in the marching band at Midland Lee High School.
