Keep Midland Beautiful ‘Earth Day’ contest

MIDLAND, Texas (Big 2/FOX 24) – A creative challenge for some local students.  

“Keep Midland Beautiful” has teamed up with Midland Independent School District.  It’s in honor of Earth Day which take place this month.  

They’re hosting two contests.  One is a recycling art project, the other is a repurposing project.

The contests are open to elementary, middle and high school students.

“The purpose for them is to really take items from home and turn it into something fun to look at and entertaining to share,” said Misty Thomason, Keep Midland Beautiful.
