Early Clover, lead singer of the Cornell Gunter Coasters has earned legendary status at Harlem’s famed Apollo Theater with a career spanning 50 years. 

He will be performing in West Texas on Thursday at The Drifters, Cornell Gunter’s Coasters and The Platters show singing all of their hits at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center on January 9 at 7:30 P.M.

Clover, who was tutored by James Brown and had shared the stage with some of the greatest entertainers. He has also been a back-up and band director for some of the greats, including Rufus Thomas, Joe Simon, and William Bell, to name a few. He also an artist who wrote “From Sawdust to Stardust” that share’s the story of his dedication to overcoming obstacles and his passion for music, available on Kindle.
