ODESSA, Texas (Big 2/Fox 24) – The pandemic may have continued into the new year but so did plenty of interesting and safe activities around the Basin. Right now, you can see ‘Betrothed: 250 Years of Wedding Fashion’ at the Ellen Noel Art Museum.

The Art exhibit is available until March 7 and free to view during regular museum hours. Because of the pandemic, the museum is currently offering private viewings as well. For $25, you and five friends can ‘book your bubble’ to see the art exhibit alone.

Randy Ham, the Executive Director of Odessa Arts, says this is a great way to learn about the changes to wedding fashion and custom over the years. His favorite piece is one from the 1800’s that, he says, you just have to see for yourself.

‘Betrothed: 250 Years of Wedding Fashion’ is available at the Ellen Noel Art Museum until March 7, 2021. You can find more information and keep up with all of the art events happening in the basin on Odessa Arts website or by downloading the ‘Our Odessa’ app.
