Starlite Lotulelei, Jr. is an American football defensive tackle for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League.

8 News NOW Sports Director Chris Maathuis spoke with the former Utah Ute during Super Bowl’s opening night.  He talked about how playing for Utah helped form him into the player he is today.

There were quite a few other fun situations caught on camera Monday night, including, Miss Universe, Pia Wurtzbach doing the ‘Whip and the NaeNae.’

There was also a moment when a Broncos player jokingly called out a reporter who said he was rooting for the Broncos.  The reporter was wearing an orange body suit that covered his entire body and face, but the Broncos will wear white on Sunday.
