
Tatiana describes herself as a Georgia girl at heart. She was raised in a military household and as a military kid she moved from the Midwest in Kansas to the East Coast in Virginia to the Southeast in Georgia. She says her diverse background allows her to tell stories from a unique perspective.
Before moving to the Basin, Tatiana graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with a minor in Political Science from the illustrious Prairie View A&M University.
Her active membership in organizations like the National Association of Black Journalists and the Television Academy Alumni Network afforded her the opportunity to intern with KPRC 2 in Houston, TX, KAGS TV in Bryan, TX, and MSNBC Andrea Mitchell Reports Team.
From a very young age, Tatiana has been curious about how the world operates and has always looked for the ‘why’ in things happening around her. As a child with an active imagination, she channeled her creativity into the performing arts. She found her passion for storytelling by writing and acting out her own monologues and performing in theatre plays.
When she’s not working, she interacts with people on social media through Twitter and Instagram, staying up to date on the latest news. Some fun facts about Tatiana: She’s played the violin for over seven years, has a gold membership at Starbucks, and enjoys watching documentaries.
