Erica joined the ABC Big 2 News team in July of 2018 working as the Assignment Editor. She joined the digital team in 2021 and was later promoted to Digital Executive Producer in 2022. 

An Odessa native, Erica began writing news when she was 15 and served as the Editor for the Odessa High School newspaper. She continued her studies at Midland College in the Mass Communications program. From print to broadcast, Erica is passionate about educating and informing the community in which she was raised.

When she is not working, Erica enjoys spending time with her children and pets.
