Pickup Truck Crashes Into Odessa Home Saturday Afternoon

No one in the house was injured

ODESSA, Texas (Local 2/FOX 24) - A stolen white pick-up truck crashed into an Odessa home on Saturday afternoon, according to dispatchers.

The accident occurred at the corner Douglas Drive and Gage Avenue.

Homeowner Ricardo Urias was watching a movie with his daughter, wife, and mother-in-law when he saw the door of his 8-year-old daughter's room fly into the hallway.

Urias says he then went outside to see the three men in the white pick up truck. He added that one of the men ran off, while the other two were detained by police in his front lawn.

According to Urias, his daughter is always in her room and is very thankful this wasn't one of those days.

Neighbors from all around came out to help Urias cover up the giant hole in his daughter's bedroom.

Red Cross also stopped by to lend assistance.
