Midland County SO Investigating Theft

MIDLAND, Texas (Local 2/Fox 24) - The Martin County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the Midland County Sheriff's Office, is asking for the public's help in solving a theft case. 

Around Jan. 27, MCSO deputies were called to Highway 349 about an oil field theft. 

When they arrived and employee said solar panels and car batteries had gone missing from the location, according to the release. 

The items as well as the loss of production is valued at more than $19,000.
