MIDLAND, Texas (Local 2/Fox 24) - The City of Midland announced their watering schedule ahead of the summer months.
Officials say residents will be allowed to water twice per week based on address numbers.
Residents and businesses with even numbered addresses will be allowed to water outdoors on Saturdays and Wednesdays while odd number addresses will water on Fridays and Tuesdays.
While the city has secured a future water source from T-Bar and Clearwater Ranches, officials are still urging care and conservation.
City officials say residents can be fined up to $500.
If residents notice someone watering outside of their set days, they can be reported to the city.
