Man Sentenced in Cocaine Possession Case

ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (Local 2/Fox 24) - An Ector County grand jury was sentenced in court on Friday in a cocaine possession case, according to a release from the Ector County District Attorney's Office. 

Officials say David Gonzales was sentenced to 68 years in prison on a possession of cocaine with intent to deliver charge. 

He was found guilty on the charge Thursday and sentenced Friday, according to the release. 

Officials say his sentence range was enhanced "due to prior convictions."

Assistant District Attorney Christopher Fostel and Michael Munk prosecuted the case.
