ODESSA, Texas (Local 2/Fox 24) - One man is facing charges after police say he stalked and chased his ex-girlfriend this week.
At about 10:11 p.m. Thursday officers were called to Murphy and Grandview about someone trying to run a car off of the road.
During the investigation police learned that Breshon Butler had tried to speak with his ex-girlfriend while she was at a restaurant, according to the release.
When she left the scene, Butler reportedly followed her and tried to stop her car by cutting her off and slamming on the breaks.
Police say Butler chased the woman from Grandview to Muskingum and Murphy where officers caught up with them.
The woman told police that Butler had previously assaulted her and had thrown rocks at her home, according to the release.
Police later confirmed the story told by the woman.
Butler was arrested and charged with stalking, a third-degree-felony.
