CDC: High Flu Activity in Midland County

See Flu Activity in West Texas

MIDLAND, TX -- (Local 2/FOX 24) - The United States is in the thick of flu season.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Texas sits at widespread moderate flu activity.

However, according to the CDC's map, Midland and Lubbock Counties tested positive for more flu cases than other west Texas counties.

Out of 254 Texas counties, only 11 have tested positive for both Flu A and Flu B, like Midland and Lubbock.

Ector, Howard, Andrews, Winkler,  Upton and Gaines counties have positive rapid flu tests.

Reagan county has no confirmed cases of the flu, but do have cases of flu-like symptoms.
